VS.

I have some great news that I can now share with you!
Over a year ago, Intel Capital Invested in a collaboration suite offering called; SuiteTwo, which aggregated the offerings from a number of vendors (SocialText, SixApart, NewsGator, Spike Software, SimpleFeed, and Visible Path) to go up against the existing Blogtronix' integrated collaboration Enterprise 2.0 suite of tools. Blogtronix, was the first company to offer a commercially integrated suite of social tools for the enterprise, before IBM, Microsoft, Jive, EMC, Oracle or any other company since 2005.

What really pissed me off is, that when I approached Intel Capital back in 2005 and asked them to take a look at investing in us, they laughed at Blogtronix and I, simply because they did not believe that anyone would want such a service, and because while I was the head of a software company, I did not go to Stanford or Harvard, or whatever...
Anyway, in today's latest Magic Quadrant for Social Software report from Gartner, Gartner Social Media Report Blogtronix is in the Social Software MQ and SuiteTwo has disappeared entirely. You will have to buy the copy of the report and find out why..
Here are some links to blogs about the Smack down from when this first started and when I predicted this is a bad idea to try and integrate so many different vendors to try and achieve what Blogtronix is already doing.

Here is my blog post as well about it
SuiteTwo vs Blogtronix Smackdown II
I did talk to several vendors over the past few months who took part in the SuiteTwo offering and they told me the current SuiteTwo version is not even supporting their latest software.
Wow, Blogtronix the small startup with 20+ people won once again against the big bad Intel Capital (hmmm.. I wonder if I should say, "I told you so guys"). Yep, I think I will. I TOLD YOU SO GUYS!
It is interesting that Intel just invested $20,000,000 in Telligent, the makers of CommunityServer. Well, one more company to go against. This time it will be harder, as they are a good company.
If you are interested to find out more about why Blogtronix is now part of the Gartner Magic Quadrant, and how we are helping large companies with their collaboration and community needs, please call us today at 1.877.256.4876 (877.BLOGTRONIX) or email us at sales@blogtronix.com
Best,

P.S. Boo you Intel and Happy Halloween.
